The pieces in Book 1 are all within a five finger pattern in each hand. Book 2 extends this to a maximum octave span. As before, full instructions are given together with imaginative, illustrative pieces; Book 3 goes beyond this and shows by stages how to play larger leaps without looking down at the keyboard.
